FOX wants Ronda Rousey as SmackDown Celebrity
The news portal Wrestling Inc has reported only that the FOX network really interested in Ronda Rousey being part of SmackDown when the WWE show becomes part of its grid in October 2019. Rousey is a world-renowned athlete and FOX knows that with it in their programs they will be able to sell more publicity.
During the past weeks, it’s been rumored that FOX has requested WWE to have a sporting environment for their programs. That means that the competition in the matches will be more significant than the stories, although this doesn’t mean 100 percent that it will happen. In cases like this, Ronda Rousey are a competitor who would fit in the women’s division of WWE’s blue series.
This is the petition that FOX could have made for its series to WWE, and it is rumored that current UFC world heavyweight champion, Daniel Cormier, could land on the table of the commentator. Cormier has not yet been able to audition because he and Derrick Lewis fought earlier this month but he’s scheduled to start practicing.
Ronda Rousey has been announced to appear in WWE TLC, where she will defend the Raw Women’s Championship against Nia Jax an event that will take place on December 16 in California. Rousey expected to confront Becky Lynch in Wrestlemania 35, although as of that moment there are no more plans for her. Rousey said recently that her intention in WWE was going to meet a year of the contract, but her mentality would have shifted lately and expected to renew her agreement.
