NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 13 will be broadcasted worldwide through Fite TV
New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW) will broadcast its most important event of this year, Wrestle Kingdom 13, on January 4, 2019 from Tokyo Dome. Aside from the regular broadcast on its official platform the company would have reached an agreement.
Mike Johnson of PWInsider reports exclusively that NJPW will announce this arrangement tomorrow, having closed it during this week. The broadcast can be seen live in both Japanese and English (with Chris Charlton and Kevin Kelly in comments) at a price of $34.99, being available later on video on demand on the platform of Faith. It should be remembered that Mike TV functions with different platforms like Roku or mobile devices.
In this way, the coverage of this event increases. NJPW reported during the last week which Wrestle Kingdom will be aired on AXS TV on January 4 from the retransmission in Japan. Thus, Wrestle Kingdom would arrive delayed and using a two-hour format to American television, picking up the two main meetings of the series (the fight for the IWGP Intercontinental Championship and the fight for the IWGP Heavyweight Championship). During the following weeks, AXS will continue to broadcast the show’s rest.
