Upcoming WWE Pay Per View Events in 2019

The upcoming pay per view (PPV) on the WWE program is the one and only WrestleMania 35 event set to take place on Sun., April 7, 2019, in MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, the provider’s annual”Showcase of the Immortals”. It’s the largest pro wrestling event of the year.

We’re just 1 week away from showtime and the Majority of the card is set:

Ronda Rousey (c) vs. Becky Lynch vs. Charlotte Flair (Raw women’s championship)
Lynch won the Royal Rumble, was advised to receive her knee looked at, did not, was suspended, reinstated, suspended , replaced by Flair, then won a suit against Flair for put back , but with Flair still in. In a surprise, Charlotte won the SmackDown women’s name from Asuka last week, so that is another element added to the mix, though to what extent is unclear.

Rollins won the Royal Rumble and chose to challenge Lesnar.

Daniel Bryan (c) vs. Kofi Kingston (WWE championship)
After winning his way in and being screwed out of it, Kingston had to sit back and watch Xavier Woods and Big E win a tag team Gauntlet game to get him . They did so, and Vince McMahon finally relented.

Triple H vs. Batista (No Holds Barred)

Batista returned on Monday Night Raw during Ric Flair’s birthday party, attacking the older fella to get Triple H’s interest. They then had it out in a fervent promo section where Batista demanded he get what he wants, which is yet another match with”The Game” before he retires. This, then, will be his retirement game. Afterwards, he said Triple H is manipulative and he is tired of it all.

Shane McMahon vs. The Miz

They were a group, and even won the SmackDown tag team titles, but after repeated failures, McMahon turned on Miz in his hometown of Cleveland in Fastlane, right in front of Miz’s daddy. He claims to be tired of permitting other people to use him for their private gain, so he is going to kick Miz’s ass (again) over it. Miz’s response to this was that the McMahon family does not control himand Shane deserves to get his ass whooped. Surprisingly enough, Miz has been great since the babyface in all this.

Sasha Banks & Bayley (c) vs. Beth Phoenix & Natalya vs. The IIconics vs. Nia Jax & Tamina (Women’s tag team championship)
These teams have been moving back and forth, and Phoenix is coming out of retirement to attempt and win the names with Nattie.

Bobby Lashley (c) vs. Finn Balor (Intercontinental championship)
They have been engaged in a competition for a while now, trading wins (and the name ). Balor won a 2-on-1 handicap game, pinning Jinder Mahal, to make a second shot at the strap.

Kurt Angle vs. Baron Corbin Pay per View Event

Nobody is very happy that Corbin was picked as the opponent — maybe including Angle himself — but that is the direction. There have been no signs WWE will alter this game.

Buddy Murphy (c) vs. Tony Nese (Cruiserweight championship)
Nese won a championship to become top competition, making this game.

AJ Styles vs. Randy Orton

They are arguing over who has the right to telephone SmackDown their residence. So they are going to fight it out. The promos have been great, the game should be better.

Samoa Joe (c) vs. Rey Mysterio (U.S. championship)
After winning the title and then defending it in Fatal 4-Way matches, Joe will now put his name on the line at a singles match against Mysterio. This comes after Mysterio pinned Joe in a tag team match. Mysterio’s son is scheduled to be in the show and might get involved.

Drew McIntyre vs. Roman Reigns
They have been going back and forth, with McIntyre working his way through The Shield.
