WWE Raw and SmackDown Live will be taped for Christmas and New Year
WWE will not work for Christmas vacations. As reported on the last radio show of the Wrestling Observer by Dave Meltzer , the programs of Raw and SmackDown that fall on Christmas Eve as on New Year’s Eve will be taped for broadcast these holidays.
It was rumored that this could be done due to the wonderful controversy which was last year in which Raw was broadcast live on Christmas Eve and eventually will be like that. The business intends to tap Monday Night Raw Christmas on December 17 in Sacramento, taping it after the corresponding live show.
Similarly, it is going to happen with SmackDown Live. WWE will do the program in Fresno and will record the Christmas Day episode immediately after the program.
The novelty of the year at the programs of these Christmas dates the programs to New Year’s Eve are also recorded. The web site of the Little Caesar’s Arena in Detroit is declared that WWE will tap on December 28. For SmackDown Live it’s the same: it would be taped on Dec 29 in the PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh.
Concerning the tapings that are manufactured from 205 Live and Main Event, which are done following the programs, WWE does not know where they’ll be placed in order that their corresponding taping made.
