WWE SmackDown Live ratings (Nov. 27, 2018):

The return of some other vacation week factors, a bad Raw and The Man brought the blue brand to eclipsing closer. Smack Down’s audience was 2,264,000 individuals on Nov. 27 – just a roughly 4% drop off by the red brand’s 2.37 million average at the evening before.

It was also an increase of more than 100K viewers from Smack Down’s Nov. 20 broadcast. Despite being tenth among cable originals at the night (behind History Channel’s Curse of Oak Island, along with the usual variety of MSNBC & Fox News political talk), WWE’s figures on Tuesday did benefit from a great deal of reruns on the broadcast networks, as CBS and the like called it in on the post-holiday week.

It is at the ratings numbers where things get interesting. Smack Down won with a big increase from the week prior, clocking in with a best on cable .81 share of the overall 18 – 49 demographic. The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that not only did a significantly larger number of girls in that age range watch Smack Down over Raw (38.4%), but Monday night’s huge, third hour drop off consisted of mostly young women tuning out.

Dave Meltzer speculates it was possibly Drake”Piss Pants” Maverick which turned them off, but the major audience decline also occurred after the train wreck Nia Jax/Ronda Rousey promo segment. Therefore, if you’re tuning in hoping for the kind of trash talk and banter the top of the Smack Down women’s card delivers and noticed that… you may be disappointed and opt to call it a night.

What might be behind them and while we all stew on these figures, here’s a listing of the figures from the six months of Smack Down to marinate in.
